Testimony of Jesus Christ to His Own Deity
It is sometimes asserted that in Jesus Christ's own words, transmitted to us in the New Testament, no evidence can be found that he claims to be Divine. To prove the contrary of this assertion is the object of this tract. The words quoted to establish the point in view will be only those which are recorded by the chosen friends and faithful followers of Jesus Christ, as coming from his lips while he walked and talked with men on earth.

Thanksgiving Ann
"Looking after all these little things was her appointed work, her duty; and she spent the intervals in singing praise. Do many of us make better use of our spare moments? So the children called her Thanksgiving Ann; her other name was forgotten, and Thanksgiving Ann she would be, now, to the end of her days."

Asbury Theological Seminary
Winter 2009 ”...As the Body of Christ, we hold in creative tension our particularity as well as our place. We are each created with unique gifts and skills, personalities and abilities — the understanding that God loves each one of us and calls us by name. As we enter into relationship with God through Christ, we step into the stream of those lives that have gone before, those lives that are yet to come. That is a powerful connection. More importantly, we are connected for a purpose — to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.”

"By reason of your sins you stand in relation to God as a bankrupt debtor to his creditor. To God as your Creator you owe perfect obedience, ... you owe great love, ... you owe great service, ... But you are not only a debtor, but bankrupt."
