(5) To view present challenges and opportunities in the light of the prior beliefs and actions of those in the Wesleyan tradition. (6) To evaluate one’s Christian vocation in the light of United Methodist history. (7) To gain insight into the nature of Christian ministry in the context of United Methodism.
