Summary
The photograph is a wonderful invention. "But there is a more wonderful, more important, and more interesting work than this continually going on in every human soul, which may he compared to the process above described, and which may be called the moral photograph. A prepared tablet, most wonderfully made, exists within us, on which the light is painting and fixing scenes and objects which can be called forth for our own observation, and which will all hereafter be brought out and spread in order before us, to our honor or shame, our joy or grief."
