Summary
"The soul's danger and 'its salvation are not mere probabilities, as in the case of insurance against loss by fire. The Gospel reveals to us our real position in relation to God and eternity, and at the same time it brings to us the knowledge of the way of salvation and invites us to seek and secure it. It shows us our danger. It points us to our remedy. Now, if it is right to insure as far as we can against loss by sickness, fire, etc., surely every thoughtful man must see the wisdom of insuring his soul against the danger of eternal loss and ruin."
