Source of Acquisition

Gordon Campbell is Professor of Renaissance Studies at the University of Leicester. He was the founding editor of the journal Renaissance Studies and is general editor of Review of English Studies. His previous books include editions of plays by Ben Jonson and the Complete Poems of John Milton. He has served as Chairman of the Society for Renaissance Studies and President of the English Association, of which he is a director.
